My Mum  Dad's name was Doris and Sam. My dad Sam was a grafter I can remember him walking from our house to where he worked which was about four miles away, in snow that was about four feet deep, but he did it. He retired when he was sixty five. He suffered with a lot of illnesses, but he was a trooper and just carried on. He loved to do crossword puzzles, we learned never to ask him one of the questions else he said lets take a look and when you got your crossword book back he had done them all.

My Mum Doris. Who liked to be called by the name Tracey after one of her Grandaughters, She didnt work she didnt have time for that because she was to busy looking after us little cherubs, All nine of us. She used to love knitting she made some wonderful things doing it. I never was short of a cardigan or two. She absolutely loved Bingo. No matter how bad she felt, she always managed to go and have a game. Over the years she had some big wins. But to be honest she lost more than she won, but she enjoyed it and that is all that matters. She loved the music of Jim Reeves and Al Martino. and she knew how to enjoy herself.

Sadly our youngest son Robert ♥ and three of my siblings have passed away but Im sure they are all up there with Mum and Dad having a whale of a time together again.

There is so much I could write about my parents, I could write a book. They were good decent people who brought all of us up to respect others What more could one ask for. They will always be greatly missed by us all

Love & Miss You Both
