Ivan Jared

Ivan was a gentleman in the true sense of the word. He was devoted to his family and spent a lifetime providing and caring for them.
He started work at the age of 14 with an engineering company and joined the Royal Air Force, serving in West Africa, during www II. On his return he was able to re-join his previous employers but spent most of his evenings in the early years studying to acquire qualifications to enable him to advance in his career. During this time he met his wife and they married in 1948.
He worked for the same company for 46 years reaching the position of Purchasing Manager. He eventually retired from full time work at the age of 63. He enjoyed a long, well deserved, retirement.
Ivan was a loving, caring and supportive man. Ivan was a gentleman.
He will never be forgotten
